Nail goodies & New Look sale

Both from New Look - Beanie hat was £1.50 (reduced in sale to £2.50; but the woman made a mistake and she did it for £1.50) yay! ^^
& the bracelet was £2.50
I really love spikes and pearls at the moment so when i saw this bracelet i had to get it! and it was half price! it goes lovely with another bracelet i have that has gold spikes and black acrylic roses where the pearls are on this one. They look lovely paired together; with a black maxi dress or skinny jeans and creepers.
The beanie hat was bought to replace one i used to have that went missing; i'm not a huge fan of it though unfortunately ; as its a slouchy fit so there's a lot of material that gets a bit annoying when it bunches up. It does keep my head warm though! - not bad for £1.50 ;)

Acrylic nail set was £6.66 (it was a third off the original price.)
& the nail polish was £3.99 (nails & polish are both from superdrug)
The glitter nail art was £2.50; from New Look.
I decided to take the plunge and buy an acrylic nail set; as i bought some fake nails from poundland yesterday and the majority of them all fell off today! eugh. annoying. but hey, it's poundland; wasn't expecting greatness to be honest. I've had acrylic nails done before back in 09' for my prom and they were amazing! so comfortable and stable and last AGES! One thing i would highly recommend though is get them taken off professionally or follow the packet instructions; when i first had them done i just bit them off... Ouch. not a good idea!
I have a current obsession with black glitter; and i was wondering around superdrug for a good 15 minutes looking for a nice glittery black nail polish; i looked at Barry M, MUA, 2true, NYC color (i think that's what it's called) and so many different ones; in the end i fell in-love with Rimmel's new collection called 'Space Dust' and picked up the colour '005 Total eclipse' which is a gorgeous matte black with black glitter, and turquoise-green glitter; it's an ultra fine glitter that looks amazing when it catches the light! The texture of this nail polish is very similar to Barry M's lastest glitter texture collection. It comes out matte and feels grainy to the touch but when you apply the nail polish it is a smooth fluid with no lumps or grainy-ness. I have yet to apply a top coat on it as i quite like the matte effect; but i think a top coat will really bring out the sparkle.
The glitter pots by Kelly Brook are stunning! you get 5 different ones; including a hot pink which is kinda chunky in size, a christmassy green which is a thinner glitter; think primary school glitter!, the third is my favourite; it's a black glitter but its in strands as opposed to the usual hexagon? shaped glitter, the fourth is a silver glitter same size as the pink; and finally is a mixed glitter of blue, and a rose-gold with bits of purple - also stunning! i am yet to use these; i haven't used loose glitter on my nails before; so fingers crossed it works!

Going batty over bats...

Image found here: http://weheartit.com/entry/85501307/search?context_type=search&context_user=phoebentine&page=4&query=doc+martins

I absolutely adore these tights! I love the bat detail going up the leg; which reminds me of the vintage seam tights; except these ones have a Gothic edgy look to them! And they look adorable paired with these classic black Doc Martins!
They also remind me of the Batman logo which would be an alternative way for fans to wear the logo without being so bold if you're not daring enough to plaster your upper half in a bright batman logo t-shirt!
I think they may be from Urban Outfitters as i have seen some on their website labelled as "bat back seam tight" and they have velvet bats on them! sadly however they have sold out when i just checked :(
Here's a few similar bat themed tights i have found on the internet:
Black bats to the knee.
Fleshy bats.
Adorable fake stockings with bats!
